Lady Falcons Go 2–0 on Opening Day of Conference Tournament; Cassidy Lee Reaches 1,000 Career Kills

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The Lady Falcons opened the conference tournament with a dominant two-win performance on Friday, sweeping both matches in straight sets in Lawrence, Kansas. The day was highlighted by Cassidy Lee reaching 1,000 career kills during the Falcons' afternoon win over Simpson.

MATCH 1 — Florida College def. Haskell (3–0)

25–12, 25–23, 26–24

Florida College opened the day with a sweep over Haskell, totaling 47 kills and hitting .242 as a team.

Cassidy Lee led with 20 kills on .378 hitting and 3 block assists. Jazmyne Slay added 8 kills and 6 block assists, while Fiona Sampaio recorded 11 kills and 21 digs.
Setter Taina de Lima Nunes finished with 38 assists, 2 aces, and 2 block assists.
