Lady Falcons Drop Four Sets to St. Thomas University
Miami Gardens, Fla. – Florida College dropped a four-set match to St. Thomas University on Thursday evening, falling 3–1 (12–25, 25–19, 9–25, 15–25). Despite the loss, the Falcons saw standout performances from several key players who continue to anchor the offense.

Cassidy Lee led the way for Florida College with an impressive 18 kills, hitting .342 on 38 attempts while adding one block assist. Fiona Sampaio followed closely with 15 kills of her own, hitting .211 and contributing 10 digs on the defensive end. Setter Taina de Lima Nunes was a major factor in the Falcons' attack, recording 34 assists and three service aces.
At the net, Margarida Almeida tallied four kills, one solo block, and one block assist, while libero Addeson Coffey provided stability in the back row with six digs. Oliwia Malinowska and Nunes both added two service aces each to boost Florida College's scoring from the line.
After a strong second-set win, the Falcons couldn't maintain momentum against a consistent St. Thomas offense that hit .429 on the night. The loss moves Florida College to 14–15 on the season as they continue their road stretch.
