AVE MARIA, Fla. – Florida College swept Ave Maria University in straight sets on Tuesday night, winning 25–15, 25–20, and 27–25. The victory moved the Falcons to 9–14 on the season.
Florida College came out strong, hitting .344 in the opening set and maintaining control through the match. Cassidy Lee led the offense with 14 kills and 14 digs, while Margarida Almeida added nine kills and hit .467. Setter Taina de Lima Nunes recorded 36 assists and nine digs, and Fiona Sampaio contributed 11 kills and 13 digs.
Defensively, the Falcons totaled 64 digs and limited Ave Maria to a .118 hitting percentage. Florida College closed out the third set in extra points to secure the sweep and extend their momentum on the road.
