Despite the loss, the night marked a major career milestone for setter Taina de Lima Nunes, who recorded her 1,000th career assist during the match. Nunes finished with 13 assists, 6 digs, and one service ace, continuing to be a key leader for the Falcons' offense.
Fiona Sampaio led Florida College at the net with 6 kills and 10 digs, while Cassidy Lee added 5 kills and a team-high 4 blocks. Margarida Almeida provided consistency on both ends, contributing 2 kills, 9 digs, and 2 aces, and Addeson Coffey anchored the defense with 11 digs.
The Falcons (16–18) fought hard in the second and third sets, showing grit down the stretch but couldn't overcome early deficits. Florida College will look to regroup as they continue their homestand and build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season this weekend with a trimatch against Pensacola Christian and New College of Florida.
