Lady Falcons vs Fisher College (3-0)
The Falcons controlled the match from start to finish, winning by scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-14. Cassidy Lee led the attack with 14 kills, while Jazmyne Slay added nine and hit an impressive .750 on the night. Fiona Sampaio tallied eight kills and 13 digs, and setter Taina Nunes recorded 33 assists to guide a balanced offensive effort.
Lady Falcons vs Carolina University (3-2)
Florida College continued its strong showing on Friday morning, outlasting Carolina University in a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory (17-25, 21-25, 25-16, 25-14, 15-8).
After dropping the first two sets, the Falcons surged behind Cassidy Lee, who dominated with 25 kills and 20 digs, while Fiona Sampaio chipped in 17 kills. Taina Nunes directed the offense with 54 assists, and Margarida Almeidaanchored the back row with 23 digs.
The Falcons' efficient hitting in the final three sets—highlighted by a .379 attack percentage in the third—powered them to their second straight victory.
Lady Falcons vs Haskell Indian Nations University (3-2)
Later on Friday, Florida College showed resilience once again, defeating Haskell Indian Nations University in another five-set battle (25-13, 23-25, 25-10, 27-29, 15-10).
Fiona Sampaio led the way with 20 kills and 14 digs, while Cassidy Lee added 17 kills, four blocks, and 23 digs in a standout all-around effort. Nunes contributed 47 assists and 11 digs, helping the Falcons stay composed through multiple close sets.
Lady Falcons vs Hesston College (3-0)
Florida College capped off its Winston-Salem weekend with a 3-0 sweep over Hesston College on Saturday morning (25-19, 25-8, 25-21).
The Falcons' offense was efficient throughout, led by Fiona Sampaio's 14 kills, Cassidy Lee's 10 kills, and Margarida Almeida's six aces. Nunes ran the offense smoothly with 30 assists, while Jazmyne Slay added seven kills and strong play at the net.
Now sitting at 13-14 overall and 4-1 in conference play, the Falcons will look to carry their momentum into the second half of the season.
