TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — October 23, 2025 — The Florida College women's volleyball team continued its 2025 season with a strong performance at home, defeating Webber International 3–1 (25–10, 25–23, 13–25, 25–17).
Senior outside hitter Fiona Sampaio powered the Falcons with 22 kills and 18 digs, hitting an efficient .312 on the night. Cassidy Lee added 12 kills, 11 digs, and five blocks, while setter Taina de Lima Nunes ran the offense with 36 assists and chipped in 11 digs of her own.
After taking the first two sets, Florida College stumbled in the third but quickly regrouped to finish strong in the fourth, closing out the match 25–17. The Falcons' defensive presence was key, tallying 10 total blocks and 70 digs as a team. Margarida Almeida contributed 7 kills, and Addeson Coffey anchored the back line with 16 digs.
The Falcons will return to the court on October 27, when they host New College of Florida in Temple Terrace.
