Falcons Close Home Slate with 2-2 Draw Against Pensacola Christian

The game served as the Falcons’ final home match of the season and their last contest before the start of conference play next week.

Florida College opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Briggs Bent scored off an assist from Leo Hackett. Pensacola Christian tied the match in the 31st minute, but the Falcons regained the lead five minutes later when Jhon Solis scored with an assist from Yorgen Torres, giving Florida College a 2-1 advantage at halftime.
In the second half, Pensacola Christian scored in the 67th minute to even the match at 2-2, which remained the final score.
Florida College recorded 15 shots with seven on goal. Hackett led the team with four shots, while Solis, Torres, and Solon Pinto each added multiple attempts. Goalkeepers Filip Borka and Ahiezer Santiago combined for five saves in 90 minutes of play.
The Falcons move to 7-8-3 on the season and will begin Continental Athletic Conference Tournament play next week.
