LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — The Florida College Falcons defeated Washington Adventist 84–81 in the conference championship quarterfinals on Friday night.
Florida College led 38–31 at halftime after shooting efficiently from the field. The Falcons finished the game shooting 50 percent (26-52) overall and 48.3 percent (14-29) from three-point range. They also converted 18 of 22 free throws (81.8%).
Malik Beauford scored 26 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including four three-pointers. Aiden Wall added 16 points and seven assists. Chris Fetuga recorded 12 rebounds, while Jacob Joseph scored 14 points off the bench with four three-pointers. Cameron Knox added nine points.
Florida College totaled 34 rebounds and 15 assists. Despite committing 16 turnovers, the Falcons secured the three-point win to advance to the conference championship semifinals.
