LAKE WALES, Fla. — The Falcons faced a tough road test on January 3, falling 85–70 to Warner despite balanced scoring and strong individual performances.
The Falcons trailed 41–30 at halftime but responded with a more aggressive offensive showing in the second half, scoring 40 points over the final 20 minutes. Aiden Wall and Malik Beauford led the charge, each finishing with a team-high 18 points.
Wall turned in an efficient performance, shooting 7-of-12 from the field while adding four rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes of action. Beauford matched Wall's scoring output, connecting on seven field goals and adding three assists as he consistently attacked the defense.
Gordon Magok provided a strong presence inside for the Falcons, finishing with 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting while pulling down four rebounds. Kenny White Jr. added eight points, knocking down two three-pointers.
The Falcons shot 45.6% from the field but struggled to find consistency from beyond the arc, finishing 8-of-27 from three-point range. Turnovers and second-chance opportunities proved costly, as Warner capitalized on key possessions throughout the game.
Defensively, the Falcons worked to disrupt Warner's rhythm, but the hosts were able to control the glass and convert at the free-throw line, shooting 86.4% from the stripe.
The Falcons move to 4–13 on the season and will look to regroup as they prepare for the FC Basketball Classic January 9-10.
