Falcons Fall to Southwestern After Hard-Fought Battle

The Falcons came out strong and took a 38–33 halftime lead, setting the tone with balanced scoring and solid defensive play in the opening half. Florida College shot efficiently early and controlled the pace before the break.
In the second half, Florida College struggled to match Southwestern's offensive push, scoring 35 points after intermission. Despite multiple efforts to close the gap late, the Falcons were unable to regain the lead.
Malik Beauford led Florida College with 16 points and nine rebounds, providing a strong presence on both ends of the floor. Aiden Wall added 13 points and three assists, while Gordon Magok contributed 12 points and seven rebounds. Kenny White Jr. chipped in 10 points, and Chris Fetuga provided a spark off the bench with eight points.
Florida College finished the game shooting 45.3 percent from the field and knocked down seven three-pointers, but turnovers and second-half scoring challenges proved costly.
The Falcons will look to build on their strong first-half performance as they move forward into the next stretch of the season.
