LAKELAND, Fla. — Florida College battled on the road but came up short in an 80–68 loss to nationally ranked Southeastern.
The Falcons were led by a strong backcourt effort from Malik Beauford and Aiden Wall, who combined for 45 points. Beauford finished with a team-high 23 points on 10-of-20 shooting, while Wall added 22 points, knocking down five three-pointers and dishing out four assists.
Gordon Magok contributed 12 points, six rebounds, and three blocks, providing a presence on both ends of the floor. Florida College also saw solid defensive activity from Cameron Knox, who recorded four steals off the bench.
Florida College trailed 35–32 at halftime and stayed within striking distance early in the second half before Southeastern pulled away late. The Falcons finished the game with 34 rebounds and 12 assists but were unable to overcome shooting struggles from beyond the arc, finishing 29.4 percent from three.
The Falcons will look to build off the offensive production in prep for their conference matchup on Tuesday.
