Lady Falcons Split Games at Home

(RV) Oklahoma Wesleyan University
The Lady Falcons were the only team to go to four sets with Oklahoma Wesleyan and lost 25-19, 23-25, 25-20, and 25-18. Oklahoma's strength was Evelyn Rohrberg, who finished the match with 20 kills and a .298 hitting percentage. Falcons Raquel Teixeira and Adriana Bravo both had 12 kills apiece and double digits in digs. Madison Lee also secured 35 assists in the match for Florida College.
Trinity Baptist College
Florida College swept Trinity Baptist in three sets, 25-3, 25-10, and 25-14. Carolina Ramalheira and Jadyn Crawford both tallied seven kills with Bravo closely behind with six. The Lady Falcons posted a .380 hitting percentage compared to the Eagles'-.188.
Warner University
Senior Adriana Bravo reached a career high 20 kills with only five errors against Warner. Teixeira was the only other player of the match to reach double digits, with 12. Madison Lee nearly reached a career high, but was four short with 41 in the match. They closed out their second win of the tournament 25-23, 25-23, and 25-13.
Concordia University
The Lady Falcons fought hard to close out the day with a win, but were unable to get in sync with each other and lost 25-13, 25-21, and 28-26. Teixeira put the Falcons on her back and had 14 kills and nine digs. Madison Lee chipped in 30 assists, and Avery Lanning added 12 digs. They finished the Labor Day Classic 2-2.
These matches push the team's record to 3-5. They will play an exhibition match on September 5 at St. Leo University at 7pm.
