LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — The Florida College men's soccer team opened conference play on Friday with a narrow 3–2 loss to Carolina University.
After trailing 1–0 at halftime, the Falcons fought back with a pair of second-half goals. Leo Hackett tied the match in the 59th minute with his sixth goal of the season, and Yorgen Torres added another equalizer in the 89th minute — also his sixth of the year.
Florida College finished with nine total shots, three of which were on goal. Hackett led the team with three attempts, followed by Torres with two.
Goalkeepers Filip Borka and Ahiezer Santiago split time in net, combining for five saves through 90 minutes.
With the result, the Falcons conclude their season.
