Lawrenceville, Ga. – Florida College men's soccer closed out the weekend with a strong 3–0 home victory over Talladega on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons struck first in the 32nd minute when Yorgen Torres scored unassisted to give Florida College an early lead. The offense continued to build momentum in the second half, with Jhon Solis finding the back of the net off an assist from Motiejus Samsonas in the 61st minute. Samsonas later sealed the win in the final seconds, scoring his first goal of the season with help from Torres.
Florida College dominated the stat sheet, outshooting Talladega 18–3 and recording six corner kicks to the Tornadoes' one. Goalkeeper Filip Borka secured the shutout, helping the Falcons improve to 6–7–1 on the season.
The Falcons will look to carry that momentum into their matchup against Florida National this Thursday.
