JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Florida College men's soccer team traveled to Jacksonville to take on the Trinity Baptist College Eagles and finished in a 2-2 draw.
The Falcons had high hopes going into their matchup against Trinity Baptist after their 2-0 win the previous Tuesday. Both teams knew what to expect from their opponent and hit the ground running in their attempt to secure a win in Jacksonville.
The first half saw 12 shots from the Falcons versus the Eagles' two, but none were able to make it into the back of the net, closing out the first half 0-0.
The second half was action packed with two goals apiece from both teams, with Yorgen Torres and Nick Giesing contributing for the Falcons. Florida College attempted 24 total shots with nine on goal. Goalkeeper Filip Borka collected three saves on six total shots.
Florida College was unable to seal the deal at Trinity Baptist and left with their second tie of the year.
