TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — Florida College battled for 40 minutes but came up short Tuesday night, falling 78–63 to Keiser University at Conn Gymnasium.
The Falcons stayed within striking distance throughout the first half, trailing just 37–31 at the break. Florida College showed strong energy early, attacking the paint and sharing the ball well, but struggled to sustain momentum after halftime as Keiser pulled away with a 41–32 second-half advantage.
Sam Massaquoi led the Falcons with a game-high 23 points, shooting an efficient 9-of-13 from the field and converting all four of his free-throw attempts. Aiden Wall and Kenny White Jr. each finished with 10 points, with Wall knocking down three three-pointers and White providing timely perimeter scoring.
Florida College finished the night shooting 40.7% from the floor and 34.8% from beyond the arc. The Falcons moved the ball effectively, recording 11 assists, but were hurt by 16 turnovers and a 44–33 rebounding disadvantage that limited second-chance opportunities.
Defensively, Florida College forced 12 turnovers and remained active in passing lanes, but Keiser's offensive rebounding and depth proved difficult to contain late. Despite the setback, the Falcons showed flashes of resilience and balanced scoring as they continue to compete through conference play.
Florida College now stands at 6–17 on the season and will look to regroup and build on Tuesday's effort in its upcoming matchup later this week.
