LANGSTON, Okla. — October 24, 2025 — The Florida College men’s basketball team opened its 2025–26 season on the road Friday night, falling 70–45 to Langston University.

LANGSTON, Okla. — October 24, 2025 — The Florida College men's basketball team opened its 2025–26 season on the road Friday night, falling 70–45 to Langston University.
Despite strong efforts from several Falcons, Florida College struggled to find rhythm offensively, shooting 31.4% from the field and 27.8% from beyond the arc.
Junior guard Malik Beauford led the Falcons with 16 points, going 4-for-12 from the floor and 7-for-9 from the free-throw line. Sam Massaquoi added 8 points and pulled down 5 rebounds, while Kenny White Jr. provided a spark off the bench with 9 points, connecting on all three of his attempts from long range.
Florida College trailed 32–20 at halftime and couldn't close the gap as Langston extended its lead in the second half. The Falcons were outrebounded 45–27 and committed 18 turnovers in the contest.
The Falcons (0–1) will look to regroup before their next matchup as they continue nonconference play.
