TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — Florida College earned an 80–65 home victory over Florida National on Tuesday night, using a dominant first half to set the tone.
The Falcons jumped out to a 47–27 halftime lead behind efficient scoring and aggressive defense. Aiden Wall led Florida College with a game-high 23 points, shooting 7-of-10 from the field and going 7-of-9 from the free-throw line.
Malik Beauford followed with 22 points on an efficient 7-of-11 shooting night, adding five rebounds and a block. Sam Massaquoi contributed 11 points, two assists, and two steals, while providing steady control at the guard position.
Florida College also received key contributions off the bench. Tate Truby scored eight points while knocking down two three-pointers, and Sterling Washington added nine points and two steals. Kenny White Jr. and Gordon Magok each pulled down six rebounds to help control the glass.
The Falcons finished the night with 38 rebounds and forced 13 turnovers, maintaining their advantage despite Florida National outscoring them in the second half. Florida College's ability to get to the free-throw line proved crucial, as the Falcons converted 21 free throws.
