TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - The #21 Florida College Falcons stayed undefeated in CAC play, defeating Northern New Mexico College 99-56 on Thursday night in Conn Gymnasium.
This one was over very early on with the Falcons taking a 31-6 lead to start the game.
They would lead 62-26 at the half.
The Falcons cruised to victory, only scoring 37 points in the second half. The Falcons were led in scoring by Matt Simpson who knocked in 31 points. Bryan Chong poured in 18 points off the bench. Calvin Earl Finch Jr. added 12 points in just 13 minutes.
The Falcons shot 52.9% from the field, 50% from three-point range, and 100% from the free-throw line.
The win moves the Falcons to 16-3 on the season and winners of 4 straight games.
Next, the Falcons take on Webber International University in Conn Gymnasium at 7 PM on Tuesday, January 24 as part of a "white out!"
