Falcons Fall Short to FNU

Cassidy Lee continued her dominant play at the net, leading all hitters with 17 kills while hitting an impressive .433 on 30 attempts. She also added a solo block and 11 digs to round out a balanced performance. Fiona Sampaio followed with 11 kills and seven digs, while Jazmyne Slay and Destiny Calderon added six and three kills, respectively.
Setter Taina de Lima Nunes orchestrated the offense efficiently with 35 assists and contributed eight digs defensively. Calderon also stood out from the service line, recording two aces to help keep the Falcons competitive in each set.
Despite hitting a solid .194 as a team, the Falcons couldn’t overcome Florida National’s consistent attack, which posted a .352 hitting percentage. The loss moves Florida College to 14–16 overall and 4–2 in conference play.
