Lady Falcons Add Sciacca
TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - Incoming freshman Angie Sciacca is the Lady Falcons’ newest addition to the 2023-2024 roster.
TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - Incoming freshman Angie Sciacca is the Lady Falcons' newest addition to the 2023-2024 roster.
Sciacca is a 5'7 midfielder from Davenport High School in Orlando, Fla. She was ranked ninth in her class out of 470 students, made the honor roll, and in the Top 20 standings for GPA at DHS. She was also a National Honor Society member.
Athletically, she played club soccer for the Four Corners Falcons. She was named captain for both her club team and at DHS. She received the Golden Boot award two years in a row for her performance in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, Sciacca scored 29 goals and contributed 19 assists for 78 total points. In 2022, she scored 25 goals and had 11 assists for 61 points. Most recently, she was named a Polk County All-Star and made the Polk County Second Team.
She will be a biology major in the fall.
"Angie's work ethic and competitive drive will be a huge help for us this fall. I can't wait to see her in action for the Falcons," said head coach Joanie Dilbeck.
