Women's Soccer at ASA Miami
The Lady Falcons defeated ASA Miami on the road on Sept. 26. The game started slow, but Kimberly Gibson hit the ground running when she came in as a substitute and scored a goal in the 30' minute that was assisted by Chloe Allen. In the 33' minute, Hannah Dunsmore was decisive dribbling in the box, receiving a foul to clench a penalty. Sandra Rico stepped up to take the penalty kick to make the score 2-0. Sandra Rico put another goal on the score sheet by putting a pass from Sasha Garcia in the back of the net. The Lady Falcons finished the first half leading 3-0. As they came out for the second half, Emily Watson won a 50-50 challenge and then passed the ball off to Emily Allen who made the score 4-0. ASA Miami went down the field and pulled one goal back to make the score sheet 4-1 in the 70' minute, which ended up being the final score of the game. The Lady Falcons face Trinity Baptist College at 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 on Qualls Field
