Lady Falcons Sign Mary Raines Hinely

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - Head golf coach Wilson Wickerham has signed Mary Raines Hinely from Birmingham, Ala. 

Hinely comes to Florida College from Vestavia High School, where she earned a varsity letter all four years of her career. She competed in the Alabama Junior Golf Organization and Birmingham Golf Association the last four years and qualified for the Alabama High School Athletic Association All Stars competition in 2023. 

She will be an education major in the fall. 

"I'm excited to attend Florida College because I'm fulfilling my lifelong dream of playing college golf while being in the presence of those with like-minded faith and a Christ centered education," said Hinely. 

"We are very happy to have Mary Raines at Florida College to begin the first women's golf team. We know that her work ethic will inspire everyone on the team," said Wickerham.
