Sam Johnson Wins Second CAC Runner of the Week Honor

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — Florida College’s Sam Johnson has been named the Continental Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this season.

Johnson earned the honor after posting a personal-best time of 25:59 over eight kilometers at the UAH Charger Invitein Huntsville, Alabama. His performance lowered his previous best by 32 seconds, a mark he originally set at last season’s NAIA national championship meet.

The senior continues to lead the Falcons with consistent top finishes and steady improvement throughout the season.
