Cross Country Receives Great Conference Honor

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Several cross country runners for FC received conference honor after this season.

Erica Sanders, Farley Wood, and Cassie Miller all received All-Academic honors for the Southern States Athletic Conference.

Cassie Miller was also named to the Musco Lighting Champions of Character Team.

Thomas Schaefer, Jason Mallo, Stephen Ferguson, Ethan Sink, and Andres Palacios received SSAC All-Academic honors.

Schaefer was also named to the Musco Lighting Champions of Character Team.

Jason Mallo and Jarrett Ferguson were named to the All-Conference team!

The greatest award was the men's cross country team was awarded the SSAC Team Sportsmanship award!

Athletic Director Pat Todd had this to say about the team receiving the honor,

"It is a tremendous honor to have our men's cross country team recognized by the Southern States Athletic Conference to receive the Team Sportsmanship Award. We are fortunate to have outstanding student-athletes that represent our institution so well and equally grateful that others recognize the character of our students."
