Ashwood Adds Goalkeeper Filip Borka

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - Head men's soccer coach David Ashwood has signed junior transfer Filip Borka from Prague, Czech Republic. 

Borka is a 6'2 goalkeeper that comes to Florida College from Charles University. He previously played for the FK Viktoria Žižkov. 

He will be a Kinesiology major in the fall.

"Playing at Florida College is a once in a lifetime opportunity," said Borka. "I am looking forward to getting better on the field."

"Filip brings experience and quality to the GK union we have at FC," added Ashwood. "We know he will come in with the right attitude and be a great addition to our squad to push it in the right direction. I am excited and look forward to working with him."
