PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Florida College men's soccer team defeated the Pensacola Christian College Eagles 1-0 on Saturday.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 62nd minute by newcomer Yorgen Torres, assisted by Jonathan Wilson. The Falcons took 17 shots to Pensacola's five, with 10 shots on goal. Falcon goalkeeper Markus Sundin posted five saves on five shots on goal to secure his second perfect game of the season.
This win secures a 6-8-1 record for the year. The Falcons will take on the University of Fort Lauderdale at home for their senior night match on October 30 at 5pm.
