TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - The #13 Florida National Conquistadors defeated the Falcons 2-0 on Tuesday.
Florida National did not take long to make their way onto the board and scored in the 14th minute with a goal by Manuel Rodriguez assisted by Tomas Barrancos. They fought hard for multiple goals throughout the match and attempted 11 shots on goal, with nine of them saved by goalkeeper Markus Sundin. The Conquistadors closed out the match with their second and final goal in the 89th minute to secure another win on the season and push Florida College's record to 5-7-1.
The Falcons only attempted six shots throughout the match, with three in each half compared to the Conquistador's 22 throughout the 90 minutes.
This loss puts the Falcons at a 2-2 record in the Continental Athletic Conference.
