LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — The Florida College Falcons were defeated by Arkansas Baptist 71–63 in the Continental Athletic Conference championship semifinals Florida College trailed 28–27 at halftime and was outscored 43–36 in the second half. The Falcons shot 34.4 percent (21-61) from the field and 23.1 percent (6-26) from three-point range. They converted 15 of 21 free throws (71.4%).
Malik Beauford led Florida College with 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including three three-pointers and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. Aiden Wall added 11 points and six rebounds. Kenny White Jr. recorded 10 rebounds, and Chris Fetuga finished with nine points and six rebounds.
Florida College totaled 45 rebounds and eight assists while committing 13 turnovers. The loss ended the Falcons’ run in the conference tournament.
