TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — Florida College fell to Haskell University, 64–55, on Friday night after rallying in the second half.
The Falcons trailed 31–19 at halftime but outscored Haskell 36–33 after the break. Florida College struggled offensively, shooting 28.6% from the field and 4-for-31 from three-point range.
Sam Massaquoi led Florida College with 14 points, followed by Malik Beauford with 12 and Gordon Magok with 11. Kenny White Jr. grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
The Falcons look to regroup going into Day Two of the CAC Classic when they take on Washington Adventist University tomorrow at 8pm EST.
