MCKENZIE, TENNESSEE — Florida College fell to 3–6 on the season after a 94–85 road loss to Bethel.
Bethel held a 39–28 lead at halftime, and although the Falcons scored 57 points in the second half, they were unable to close the gap. Malik Beauford led Florida College with 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting while adding six rebounds and three assists. Sam Massaquoi followed with 18 points, six rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Off the bench, Pierce Shirk contributed 16 points and five rebounds, going 4-of-9 from three-point range. Gordon Magok and Chris Fetuga each added nine points, with Fetuga hitting all three of his attempts from beyond the arc. Kenny White Jr. recorded six points, six rebounds, and two steals, and Aiden Wall added four points, three rebounds, and two assists.
Florida College shot 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from three, and finished 5-for-5 at the free-throw line. The Falcons remain on the road as they prepare for Saturday’s matchup.
