Falcons Beat NAU on Senior Night

The Falcons started their four seniors: Matt Simpson, Ethan Smith, Bryan Chong, and Ray Cao, along with sophomore point guard Anthony Bittar. The Stallions came out with good energy, leading for the majority of the first half despite starting down zero to five. FC trailed by 14 at halftime, 42-28.
The second half saw the Falcons return to their usual selves. They tied the game just 6.5 minutes into the second half. The Falcons took the lead at the ten-minute mark and never looked back.
Florida College was led in scoring by senior Bryan Chong. Chong scored 20 points, including 6-of-8 from three-point range. Matt Simpson poured in 15 points (his lowest total of the semester) and also dished out 6 assists. Anthony Bittar also had 15 points and handed out 9 assists. Ethan Smith had 12 points and 4 rebounds.
The win caps off the regular season at 24-4. The Falcons finished 13-1 at home this season. Up next, FC travels to Haskell Indian Nations University for the Continental Athletic Conference tournament on February 24-26. As the one-seed, they'll take on the number eight-seeded Fisher College Falcons on Friday at 2:15 PM (ET). Florida College is looking to repeat as conference champions!
