Falcons Blow By Johnson University
TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - The Florida College Falcons played their first game in 28 days, and won 111-79.
The Falcons started off the game like they hadn't missed a beat over break. They shot 70% in the first half, scoring 60 points.
They finished the game with 18 three's on 36 attempts. Five Falcons reached double figures in the contest. Bryan Chong had 18 points on 6-of-8 from three, all in the second half. He battled foul trouble all the first half. Jalon Perry also had 18 on 8-of-11 shooting. Matt Simpson had 17 on 7-for-11 shooting. DJ Doakes returned to action and put up 16 points. Brett Meci had a season-high 14 points on 7-for-8 shooting.
The Falcons return to action today against Dalton State in their first conference game of the year.
