Falcons Can't Finish University of Mobile
TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - The Florida College Falcons dropped the season finale to the University of Mobile Rams 78-88 on Saturday afternoon.
The game went a familiar way for those keeping up with the current season. FC had an eight point second half lead that was followed by a 15-0 Mobile run to take the lead for good. The Falcons were without junior point guard Milz Tatum for the second straight game.
Several Falcons made significant impacts on the game. Ethan Smith was the leading scorer, having a career-game putting up 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. It is Smith's second consecutive triple-double, and second of his young career. The point and assist totals were also a career-high. Matt Simpson had 18 points. Andrew Voss had 17 points and 5 rebounds in his last career game.
Other seniors Stefan Nakic-Vojnovic and Hayden Todd were also honored before the game as they played their last games of their college career's as well. Nakic-Vojnovic poured in 7 points, while Todd put up 4.
The loss puts the Falcons at 13-17 on the year.
