Falcons Get Back on Track Against Trinity
TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - The Florida College Falcons defeated the Trinity College of Florida Tigers 93-72 on Monday night in Conn Gymnasium.
The Falcons led 11-0 early on, but could never stretch the lead to thirty-plus on the night.
The Falcons were led in scoring by Matt Simpson with 21, including 5-for-7 from deep. He also grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. Simpson recently saw his 20-straight double digit scoring streak broken at Faulkner. Andrew Voss secured the double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting. Jalon Perry chipped in 15 points off the bench to round out the double digit scorers.
The Falcons played a sloppy game with 21 turnovers.
Florida College returns to action tomorrow at 2 PM in a conference game against #25 ranked William Carey (Miss.) University.
