Falcons Explode at Crown

The Florida College Falcons defeated Crown College 134-87 on Thursday night. Kent Hegarty led FC in scoring with 25 points and grabbed his season average seven rebounds. Darwin Morales had a career night, putting up 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. All four of those figures are career-highs for Morales! Speaking of career-highs, Kerwiken Morpas scored 23 points, snagged 14 rebounds and dished out five assists. All three of those numbers are career bests for Morpas! Zach Brock added a quiet double-double for the Falcons, scoring 15 points on five made three-pointers, and adding ten assists (both numbers are season-highs). Jacob Roark put 12 points on the board to go along with six rebounds and eight assists, which is a career-high. Austin Mills rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points and five steals of his own.

Florida College set a season-high for points and a school record for assists in a game with 36 as a team! The Falcons shot above 50% from the field (54.8) and knocked in 15 triples. FC moved to 18-5 with the win.
