Falcons Win 12th in a Row, Crush Stallions
The Florida College Falcons showed North American University (TX) who was boss again on Saturday afternoon, as they defeated the Stallions 100-59. Kent Hegarty scored 20 points and had nine rebounds (just like the day before) to lead the Falcons in scoring. Zach Brock added 12 points finished one assist short of a double-double with nine. Jacob Roark tallied 10 points and five assists. Every Falcon player that was dressed-out played in the game and every player scored.
The Falcons had a season-high 59 rebounds in the game. 24 of those rebounds were offensive which was also a season-high. 40 threes attempted tied a season-high for FC (11/18 at Trinity Baptist). FC recorded the most blocks as a team in a single game this year (8).
The win puts the Falcons at 14-2 and winners of their last twelve games. Next, the Falcons will travel to Miami, FL to take on Florida National on Tuesday night. This will be the start of three straight road games for FC.
