Falcons Win Big Over North American University
The Florida College Falcons defeated the Stallions from North American University (TX) 111-54 on Friday night in Conn Gymnasium. The Stallions led 3-2 after trading baskets early in the contest but never led again as the Falcons cruised to victory. Kent Hegarty and Jacob Roark were two of seven Falcons in double figures for the game. They led the way with 20 points each, Hegarty added nine rebounds and was (9-10) shooting on the evening. Sophomores Jahkeal Samuel and Kerwiken Morpas added 11 points apiece. Jordan Benjamin, Austin Mills, and Darwin Morales all chipped in 10 points.
This was the first game back for Mills after missing the last nine games due to injury. This is the 11th win in a row for FC. The Falcons take on North American University again today at 4 PM. Looking forward, next week is a busy one on the road for the Falcons. On Tuesday they travel to Miami to take on the #2 team in the USCAA, Florida National. Thursday they will travel to Nashville to play Welch and Fisk on Friday and Saturday.
