Alsafeer was a staple in the center of midfield captaining the Falcons to a USCAA Final-Four Appearance in 2011, the first USCAA National Tournament appearance for the Falcons in program history.

In addition to coaching the Falcons, Alsafeer is also the head coach of the Tampa Marauders Football Club, a semi-professional soccer team playing in the CSL-USA. Coach Alsafeer also coaches the U-16 boys at the Tampa Dynamo Soccer Club.
