The women's soccer team won against Broward College on senior night. The Lady Falcons fought hard in the first half against the Seahawks, but both teams were relentless to let anyone score the first goal of the game. The teams went into halftime at 0-0. The Seahawks were first to get on the scoreboard off of a freekick in the 60' minute. The Falcons responded with a goal five minutes later. Emilea Allen took on Broward College's defense beating their back line but getting fouled 25 yards outside the box. Sasha Garcia stepped up to take the freekick and placed the ball in the right corner where the goalie could not make a save scoring a fabulous goal. Miscommunication from the Lady Falcons back line led to conceding a goal in the 70' minute. The Lady Falcons tried their best to tie up the game as they were relentless to not give up. Unfortunately, time ran out leading to their second loss of the season. Wish the Lady Falcons luck on their fall trip as they take on Oakwood University and Christendom College this upcoming Thursday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Oct. 21.
