The Lady Falcons defeated the Judson College Eagles on Thursday. The Lady Falcons were first to get on the scoresheet in the 14' minute. Brigette Morris crossed the ball to Sandra Rico putting it in the back of the net. Rico was eager to get another goal, shooting low and into the left corner, forcing the goalie to make a save. Although Judson College's goalie Brianna Arriaga made a crucial save, Hannah Dunsmore received the rebound and put the ball away making the scoreline 2-0 going into halftime.

The Lady Falcons were keen to add another goal starting the second half. Erika Herzek passed the ball into space and Kimberly Gibson chased the ball down. Gibson kept her composure and shot the ball low into the corner, making the game 3-0 in the 70' minute. Three minutes went by and the lady Falcons were unfortunate to give up a penalty after being called for a handball. Whitney Batt was clinical taking the penalty for Judson. As Batt shot the ball, Abigail Montanez dove right grasping her palms on the ball, but could not make the save, bringing the game to 3-1 in the 73' minute. The Lady Falcons turned around and scored their fourth goal a minute later with Emily Watson crossing the ball finding Erika Herzek to head the ball past the goalie. The game finished 4-1 with the Lady Falcons clinching the win. Come out and support our Lady Falcons as they host Broward College for senior night this Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m.
