The Lady Falcons fell to another tough team, Western Virginia University Institute of Technology, on Friday evening, going once again to five sets. The match was back and forth with WVU winning the first set, the Lady Falcons winning the second and third sets, and WVU returning to win the final two sets of the match. Although the Lady Falcons couldn't come away with the win, they played a tough game. Rachel Tharp, the all-tournament player, led the team in both kills and digs. Tharp had 104 attempts total for the match. While Baylee Gunter had 54 assists, senior libero Elisa Lemerond also had 4 assist and 16 digs for the match.
